This role forms part of the Shared Serviced and Outsourcing Advisory Practice (SSOA). The role is to deliver IT outsourcing work to clients and to either lead smaller ITO engagements or lead a stream of larger ITO engagements. You would be expected to identify and help sell opportunities within existing client engagements and be an active participant in helping to grow the SSOA practice.
Your new role
Primarily, your responsibilities will be focused on:
- Leading and supporting the delivery of SSOA related engagements, primarily ITO focussed
- Assist with the identification of opportunities and on-sell of work within existing clients
- Help with development of the SSOA practice (KM, new offerings, thought leadership)

Actively developing more junior team members, developing sourcing related materials
The successful candidates will be able to clearly demonstrate:
- An in-depth understanding of the sourcing lifecycle and associated risks
- Leading sales pursuits that has resulted in new sourcing advisory business
- An understanding of the local and global IT service provider market and capabilities
- A working knowledge of common industry methodologies e.g. ITIL, Lean
- Experience from a Big 4, IT consulting house or within the IT industry
- Proven experience of working on multiple simultaneous engagements where managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines are key
- Experience in developing sourcing strategies
- Experience in the evaluation and selection of providers
- Experience in negotiating major outsourcing and off-shoring deals
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing governance
