Assistant Accountant

This role represents a fantastic opportunity to join a busy media company specializing in a very unique segment of the market. Located on the city fringe they are now in the market for an immediately available candidate confident with receivables and debtor management but capable in a much broader Assistant Accountant vacancy.

As a critical member of a small but busy finance team your role will be balanced between maintaining the Accounts Receivable Function, Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger Maintenance. Specific duties will include monitoring the debtors, posting and reconciling revenue journals, allocating customer payments, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with reporting.

Degree complete and studying towards your CA or CPA you will possess a good understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliations and month end processes. As this position is potentially a contract to permanent vacancy you will see such a role as your next 'career move' and not just another assignment. You will possess natural people skills and be comfortable as part of a small, supportive team environment. Knowledge of Oracle is highly beneficial.
