Accounts Assistant My client, a leading independent paint & decor retailer in Cork, is looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to learn and develop within a forward-thinking business. Key Responsibilities Accounts receivable processing including allocation of payments Bank Reconciliations Till report balancing, processing & follow up of variances Customer & Supplier file maintenance Preparation of Sales reports for Sales Director & Managers Corresponding with customers & suppliers and responding to enquiries. Assisting with the preparation work and implementation of a new ERP system (Intact IQ) Assist in month end closing Resolving invoice discrepancies and customer credits Stock Card pricing maintenance, involving management of price listing process, working with suppliers and colleagues to resolve issues Accounts Payable processing when required Undertaking general office duties, telephone answering and any other duties as appropriate Requirements: Minimum of 5 years accounts receivable and payable experience and general accounting experience essential Accounting technician qualification or equivalent experience required Strong proficiency in IT systems, particularly Excel and the use of pivot tables Knowledge of accounts receivable & payable Strong working knowledge of general accounting procedures Knowledge and experience using Exchequer Enterprise/Intact IQ or equivalent ERP software package Proficient in data entry and data management FOR FURTHER INFORMATION AND A CONFIDENTIAL DISCUSSION PLEASE APPLY HERE OR CONTACT DEBORAH NOYEK WITH YOUR UPDATED CV ON 021-2300300 OR EMAIL Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
