Description
Job Background / Context:
To provide leadership and governance across all legal vehicles in Malaysia covering execution of the Global Third Party Risk Management Policy.
Job Purpose:
To provide a centralized oversight and governance function for Citi Malaysia with the right seniority on Third Part Risk Management.
Third Party Risk Manager Responsibilities:
- Act as the country point of contact for Third Part Risk activities to oversee BAOs in the execution of the TPM policy on existing or new outsourcing arrangements, including adherence to local regulatory
- Review new outsourcing proposals and supplier selection criteria with the BAOs to ensure alignment with TPM policy
- Drive TPM approval process timelines, review proposal documentation and ensure timely approvals by the TPM committee
- Drive completion of Annual Due Diligence on Outsourced Service Providers, Enhanced Attestation Process on further outsourcing and partner with 2nd / 3rd Line functions for independent assessments on TPM
- Lead TPM Committee covering In-country TPM landscape including key risks, regular updates on changes / modifications to the local Citi policies impacting outsourcing, lessons learnt from past audits, best practices and emerging trends. Partner with Compliance to share updates on any changes to regulatory guidelines
- Ensure that process exists to monitor and review compliance to Citi Policy and local regulation by all outsourced arrangements
- Report non-compliance of outsourcing training requirements by BAO's and BAO's Support
- Ensure that any deviations to Citi TPM Policy are documented and appropriately approved
- Proactively escalate any significant issues on TPM to TPM Committee, Regional TPM Head on a timely basis
- Establish a process with BAOs to maintain the country outsourcing inventory database based on the standard regional template

Qualifications
- The candidate should have good communication and presentation skills, excellent project management skills, well organized, able to manage change and influence others to deliver
