Amazon Transportation Services have built a world-class Middle Mile operation, which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers' expectations. TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Risk & Compliance Auditor to audit Amazon Middle-Mile carrier partners' compliance against contractual and legal requirements, and drive a compliance culture both internally and externally.

We are looking for an individual with strong audit experience, who can apply their expertise to 1) conduct thorough carrier inspections and audits across different business models, 2) execute risk based operational process reviews , 3) identify compliance, regulatory and reputational risks at carrier and process level and deep dive to identify root causes, proposing risk-mitigation solutions, and 4) deliver detailed finding and recommendation reports for both carriers and business teams. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to details aptitudes as well as strong data-driven mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and earning carriers' trust. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy, especially in those close to all-remote times.

Key job responsibilities

• Assess Amazon Middle Mile carriers to verify that they operate compliantly with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements

• Provide precise assessment reports to carriers, with clear finding details, and actionable short/mid/long-term corrective and preventative action suggestions, thus helping them achieve and maintain compliance requirements

• Provide thorough finding and recommendation reports to senior management and business partners at both carrier and control level

• Investigate suspicious carrier activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customers, or the society at large

• Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence

• Achieve assessment productivity and quality standards

• Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Audit or assessment experience

• Excellent German and English communication abilities, both written and verbal

• Exceptional attention to details, with a problem-solving and data-driven mindset

• Ability to work with remote teams, including from other departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, etc.), with the highest levels of team spirit and integrity

• Excellent knowledge of Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

• Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in at least one of the following other languages: French, Italian, Polish, and Spanish

• Compliance and risk management experience

• Working knowledge of local transport, and contractual laws and regulations

• Project management experience

• Data software experience (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce, etc.)
