About the role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible to provideefficient and qualitative service to portfolio of assigned clients. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and in line with internal clients’ regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review and preparation of all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations;
• Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients (depreciation, prepayments, re-evaluations);
• Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports required by the client;
• Reviewing and checking the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc
• Preparation on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines;
• Preparation of monthly tax returns by indicated deadlines;
• Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects.

About you:

The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with experience as an Accounting Specialist. Possesses deep knowledge of Romanian accounting & tax regulations coupled with exemplary people skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:

• Business graduate, qualified accountant, with more than 4 years’ experience in accounting;
• Excellent computer knowledge (especially Excel). Proven track record in working with special accounting software (Dynamix, SAP);
• Romanian language is mandatory;
• Good communication skills on English - both spoken and written;
• Organized and pro-active attitude;
• Comfortable having work reviewed and receiving constructive feedback.
