Finance Business Partner

You work closely with colleagues across our Group functions so the willingness to travel occasionally to all our Group sites within the UK is a must. This role provides an excellent introduction to our Group in a commercial role for someone who will continue to take steps up within the group.

The client is an FMCG businesses with presence throughout the UK.

Description

The main duties of the role include:

• Commercial liaison with business leaders
• Responsible for business plan - move to perpetual plan with aid of BI - and for helping guide the business to its achievement.
• Responsible for credit control for customers and liaison on this with sales and operational function to work in a pro-active and preventative way, solving problems before debts become due.
• Answering exceptions which come out of group reporting function in order to resolve them.
• Responsible for interpretation and review of results.

Profile

• A commercially focused attitude
• Financial expertise and be highly numerate, preferably a qualified accountant
• The ability to build relationships with people across all levels of the business
• Great communication skills
• Capability to position ideas to get buy-in to proposed business changes / process changes / efficiency changes
• The ability to bring financial insights to life for non-finance people
• A confident presentation style
• Willingness to travel
