SUMMARY OF JOB:
The Payroll Officer reports to the Accounts Lead or incumbent. You will perform accounting payroll duties across the organization. You support the Accounts infrastructure, policies and support systems, which aids in effectively achieving the objectives of the Company. The incumbent has key responsibility for completing fortnightly payroll inclusive of delivery of same, as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll
* Complete Fortnightly payroll in a timely and efficient manner.
* Process statutory payments such as NIS, Health Surcharge and PAYE
* Address fortnightly payroll queries.
Documentations and Reports
* Complete NIS forms. NI forms such as sick and extended sick leave, injury leave, maternity leave, etc
* Complete Bank Assignment Letters and Change of Bank Letters.
* Generate reports from Paymaster upon request from other departments eg. Current employee listing reports, employee salaries average report
* Print, sort, stamp and distribute all yearly TD4 to employees, and the BIR office.
Automated Clearance House (ACH) Processing
* Process ACH Payment
Sales
* Validation of sales reports.. (the Settlement report from the Linx machine is audited, the receipt (linx or credit card ) should be the same on the sales reports, verify the date and signature are affixed on sales report)
* File sales report in specified folder and store in area provided.
* Verify Sales Figure against Sales Reports via ODOO.
Other:
* Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time within the scope of your function by providing comprehensive support services to the Accounts Lead, or incumbent, that ensures a professional, responsive and effective experience with the organization as a whole.
* Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards adhering to all the Company's Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures while executing duties.
