Description

Financial & Accounting

  • Engage in the accounts payable accounting process, which includes receiving and matching invoices with purchase orders. Coordinate with the shared service center for posting and ensure all required supporting documents are available.
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding outstanding invoices to account for any unrecorded items.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and the shared service center to ensure timely submission and posting of all invoices into the system before the payment run date.
  • Manage vendors by ensuring all necessary documents are in place for preferred suppliers, assisting with vendor creation in the system, and updating the preferred supplier list.
  • Provide assistance with any requested reporting tasks.

Logistics

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in preparing delivery notes for all incoming shipments, as well as packing lists for intercompany sales. Notify distributors and freight forwarders about upcoming shipments.
  • Generate Purchase Orders and record stock receipts in the SAP system.
  • Prepare disposal forms for approval, coordinate with the distributor for disposal arrangements, and complete the disposal process in the system.
  • Assist in monthly forecasting activities.
  • Assist in preparing quotations for customers and handle return credit notes/sample requests through the distributor.
  • Provide assistance with any other required reporting tasks in the logistics department.

Profile

  • At least 3 years of finance and accounting experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to take on some administrative logistics duties on an ad-hoc basis
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders on accounting matters
  • Experience in liaising with shared service center on invoice postings.
