Periodic Review Analyst

As a Periodic Review Analyst, you will be responsible for ongoing due diligence and reassessing customer compliance risk during Periodic and Event Driven Reviews to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanction breaches, and reputational risk. You will perform the required due diligence in accordance with established regulatory requirements as documented in company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

This full-time role sits remote or hybrid in either our Wayne, PA-Main or Des Moines, IA offices.

Day to Day

  • Perform various regulatory risk assessments and required regulatory classifications as part of the Periodic Review process and ensure every client file meets DLL’s internal KYC policy and procedure requirements by the due date.
  • Validate the Customer Compliance Risk Rating.
  • Review and determine structure and transaction risk, validate customer source of funds and other customer or transactional attributes.
  • Perform customer searches to identify adverse news and identify potential reputational risks.
  • Perform and clear Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) alerts.
  • Review, validate, and update Customer identification information to satisfy our Know Your Customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively and strategize with various front-end members and external customers including, but not limited to, Sales Support, Sales Representatives, Partners, and End Users to resolve any Customer Risk Rating issues.
  • Document, organize, and present any relevant findings to the Compliance Department.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and automation, assist with projects, and communicate opportunities to supervisor.
  • Utilize multiple internal and external systems to investigate and ensure client files are complete and up to date.

Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree with Business or Legal curriculum - a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • 1+ years’ experience in financial services or banking compliance a strong plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required to liaise effectively with stakeholders while maintaining compliance.
  • Ability to research business operations, analyze data, and pay attention to detail in high volume environment.
  • Strong investigative skills, opensource search skills, resourcefulness, and intuition.
  • Experience with Pega Systems, Qlik, Oracle, Lexis Nexis a plus.
  • Self-starter/motivator and team player

Applicable Pay Range

  • $55,637.53 - $83,456.29

 This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the applicable pay range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
