Part of the senior management team, advising on the best path for the business and possessing overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company. The HOF would have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, often having to work with various departments.

Based in Surrey, my consumer focused client is well-established and highly profitable. They are a medium sized business with revenues in the region of £75-80m.

Description

• Work with the senior management team to formulating strategies and plans
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Presentation of annual accounts with recommendations
• Lead and manage the budgeting process
• Formulation of annual budgets and targets
• Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly updates
• Review of accounts and investigation of variances
• Treasury matters
• Overall cash management on an ongoing basis
• Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
• Insurance/ risk management
• Cost control and efficiency improvement
• Regulatory requirements including waste packaging are met

Profile

• Fully qualified Accountant with experience of a senior financial role
• Excellent commercial and business acumen
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels
• Strong IT skills, able to embrace new technologies
• A stable background
• Experience gained within a £35-100m T/O business

Job Offer

Salary of £95,000 - £125,000 plus bonus and benefits
