Accountant - Reporting & Consolidation (Up to 38K)

An excellent opportunity for candidates with consolidation experience and solid excel skills to join a sizeable Hong Kong conglomerate. The main job duties for this role will focus on group consolidation, prepare management reports, and perform business analysis.

Our client is a company under a Hong Kong privately owned conglomerate with over 100 years of history. With their diversified businesses, the company has over 4000 employees. They are engaged in the manufacturing and production of health products, as well as property investments and venture capital.

Description

• Prepare management reports such as financial updates, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare group consolidation accounts, edit disclosure notes, and update accounting schedules
• Provide analysis on business performance and perform analytical review on line items
• Support business units on finance queries and work closely together
• Review audited accounts and provide analysis to the Audit committee
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as required

Profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Student member or qualified member of HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA or equivalent
• 4 years of relevant experience, audit candidates are welcome
• Consolidation experience is a Must
• Knowledge in PRC accounting standards and taxation is an advantage
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large data
• Able to meet tight deadlines, independent and good communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Occasional travel is required
