Role

The Accounting Practice Tax Senior is a senior-level position responsible for the overall management of an accounting firm. This includes assisting with overseeing the firm's finances, operations, and staff. The Tax Senior typically reports to the firm's partners or owners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the firm's finances: This includes assisting with managing the firm's budget, setting financial goals, and ensuring that the firm is profitable.
  • Managing the firm's operations: This includes assisting with overseeing the firm's workflow, ensuring that clients are satisfied, and providing staff with the training and support they need.
  • Managing the firm's staff: This includes assisting with hiring, setting performance goals, and providing staff with performance reviews.
  • Marketing the firm: This includes assisting with developing and executing marketing plans, networking with potential clients, and generating leads.
  • Maintaining the firm's compliance with regulations: This includes assisting with ensuring that the firm is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
