Management Accountant

Page Personnel are working with a growing engineering and maintenance business based in Birkenhead to recruit a Management Accountant to join their accountancy function. Working with the Finance Director within a team of 4, this is a pivotal role joining a growing team with exceptional prospects for progression. The Management Accountant will be the 'go-to' for all Management Account queries and dealings, as such proving an exciting and hands-on role.

Our client are already market leaders in the UK working on a huge scale. Due to company growth and team succession planning, they are seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of the day to day processes.

Description

They key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Producing monthly management accounts + commentary
• Supporting with future system implementations and process improvements
• Payment runs
• Cashflow forecasting
• P&L
• Supporting towards annual audit
• Business partnering across
• Some costing
• Adhoc support as required by the finance team

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have:

• Full exposure to producing a full set of management accounts
• Proven track record of process improvements/implementations
• Manufacturing background - highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• The attitude to 'get involved' and support the business adapting a 'hands-on' approach
• Comfortable working at a fast pace, accurately and concisely
• A high level of Excel skills including V-Look Ups/ Pivot tables
• CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified or willing to qualified (Very important for succession planning!)
