IT Risk Auditor

We are going through an exciting period of expansion and are seeking an IT Risk and Controls Auditor to join our expanding risk management team.

This exciting, new role will open the door for a driven and innovative individual to join our team. You will be responsible for auditing our IT Controls Framework (ITCF), evaluating our audit and control processes to make them more efficient, and testing existing processes. This will include working with IT and Operations teams to enhance controls and remediate weaknesses or gaps. As this is a new role, the right candidate will have a key role to play in designing the testing processes. We operate a hybrid working model which gives you the best of both working worlds.

Position Responsibilities

• Help design and implement ITCF testing frameworks.
• Ensure newly identified risks and issues are appropriately included in the ITCF and our testing processes.
• Coordinating self-assessments of the ITCF amongst process owners, including developing the process, reviewing and challenging outcomes, and identifying remediation actions where required.
• Undertake independent testing of the ITCF on a cyclical basis, working with IT and operations teams to ensure this is completed in an efficient manner.
• Integrating ITCF testing with our other Risk Management processes such as incident key risk indicator monitoring.
• Produce reports to management and the European Audit Committee on the status / results of the ITCF.

Skills and Experience

The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:

• Experience in auditing IT controls (such as IT General Controls or IT SOX controls testing)
• A good understanding of key Risk Management concepts and ability to translate these to controls.
• Proven track record in working in a regulatory environment would be advantageous.
• Analytical and able to interpret data with ease.
• Self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
• Innovative and embraces change.
