The Amazon EU Student Programs Team is looking for ambitious, motivated and curious students to join us as an Intern in our EU Finance departments. You will be actively involved in in month-end closing activities, and will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of our management reporting. You will support on forecasting, cost-effectiveness and variance analyses, and work on specific and cross-divisional issues to help our business deliver the best to our customers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across our businesses and will have the chance to get exposure to our senior management.

Key job responsibilities
• Assist with general accounting month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support the Accounting team by compiling and analysing data and tracking information
• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Provide support for Statistical reporting
• Support in day-to-day work and ad-hoc requests

The Amazon Finance team is looking for an Intern to join our organization and work alongside, and support managers gaining a deep insight into the financial systems, processes and controls used to record Amazon's growing volume of daily, weekly and monthly transactions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled as a student receiving a Bachelor's or Master's Degree for the complete duration of the employment as an intern
• Fluent written and verbal communication in and English (Level - C1 or higher)
• Graduation date is no earlier than in January 2024 or after the end of internship contract (whichever is later)
• Available for internship starting this year and for the length of 3 to 6 months.
• Knowledge in MS Office programs especially Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Results-driven focus with analytical capability
• Solid experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritise workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with peers and various levels of management
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Essbase)
