Accounting Intern

Internship Title: Accounting Internship

Location: NSW, Sydney

We offer accounting graduates/students an in-house internship/training program designed to assist them in their transitions into the workforce, by giving participants practical hands-on experience in Tax accounting and bookkeeping. Currently, we are looking for candidates for our Melbourne locations.

Task you may be responsible for daily:

• Bookkeeping
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Preparation of financial
• Payroll (Superannuation, STP, Pay slips
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements
• Tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, etc.
• ABN application
• Tax Advice
• ATO Correspondence
• ASIC secretarial
• IAS/PAYG/FTC
• Comprehensive introduction of XERO Tax Practice Manager
• Overview of the Australian Taxation and Tax Agent Portal

Internship Program details and outcome

• 3 months of internship.
• Supervised work experience with a training plan.
• Performance appraisals, reference letters, and certificates of work experience
• XERO certification if applicable
