Inviting applications for the role of Record to Report Financial Accounting - Assistant Manager - English- On Site Johannesburg

Works with Transition, Training, Ops and Practice to understand contractual commitments, deal books and customer priorities.
Responsibilities

Coordinating the accounting tasks for one or more specific region/s and/or one/more functional accounting processes: Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month End Close activities, Reporting activities, Fixed Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, amortization), Intercompany, FX & Treasury Accounting, etc.

• Manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable,Reconciliations, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with IFRS, company policies and procedures.
• Posts ledger and general journal entries.
• Translates sub-ledger information to GL
• Reconciles bank accounts and statements
• Performs period end activities, (Closing GL, balance sheet reconciliations etc)
• Uploads bank statements
• Loads certain payments
• Allocates and clears non-trading cash
• Manages foreign currency exposure
• Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts and controllers
• Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data ,revenue and costs
• Internal and External reporting
• Statutory and Cosolidation pack preparation
• TB uploads to BPC and BPC complimentary schedules preparation
• Participates in annual audits and special projects.
• May work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
• Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
• Reconcile complex accounts.
• May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• Relevant work experience in a multinational company as Financial Reporting Analyst ;
• Communicative level of English High School Degree (University graduate or Economic studies are an advantage);
• Relevant domain experience;
• Previous experience in a BPO/Call Center/Shared Services environment (represents and advantage);
• ACCA certification or any equivalent;

• Personal culture and client management expertise.
• University graduate (Economic profile is an advantage)
• High motivation and ability to learn.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
