Assistant Accountant

This is a newly created Assistant Accountant will:

• AP and AR across two business, one in the UK and one in Ireland
• Accruals - manage the process from end to end culminating in Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Manage Prepayments - manage the process from end to end culminating in Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Will work with our Systems Accountant to integrate billing from our time recording system into Sage

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant based in Winnersh will be:

• AP and AR across two businesses, one in the UK and one in Ireland
• Accruals - manage the process from end to end culminating in Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Manage Prepayments - manage the process from end to end culminating in Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Will work with our Systems Accountant to integrate billing from our time recording system into Sage

There is also the possibility that you will have someone reporting into you, so technical experience is crucial as you may need to give advice to others.

Profile

The ideal Assistant Accountant will be someone who has worked, ideally in an SME, with a wide variety of duties and is able to flex their plans in order to deal with shifting priorities.

Exposure not only to AP and AR but also Accruals, Prepayments and Balance Sheet Reconciliations is ideal, however you will be able to progress and develop within the role over time as well.
