Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide financial leadership within the Leadership team, influencing decision making through the interpretation of financial insights and analysis
• Ownership for weekly and monthly performance management - reviewing performance, setting targets, managing risks and opportunities. Responsibility for the delivery of accurate commercial forecasts.
• Proactive margin management across both our product portfolios, ensuring we have the right product mix, pricing strategies and business model to support growth of our business.
• Ownership for the financial evaluation of new business opportunities and the development of innovation business cases, providing a view on scale of each opportunity and the associated risks.
• Play an active role in developing strategies to grow sales volumes and value, improve business profitability and optimise efficiency's across the business.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and seek best practice across our processes and ways of working.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and that internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk
• Coach and develop both finance and non-finance individuals to ensure everyone across the commercial team can maximise their potential and perform their roles to the highest standard

Profile

To be considered you will have both leadership experience and finance business partnering, ideally gained in a consumer business (retail, FMCG, consumer electronics, leisure)

Job Offer

Salary of £70,000 - £90,000 doe plus 25 days holiday, hybrid working, private health and enhanced pension
