Your Role at Baxter:

The Corporate Consolidations Senior Financial Analyst supports the Baxter global monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes. This position has high visibility access to senior leadership supporting Baxter’s global Finance organization

What You'll be Doing:

  • Accurate and timely preparation of external and internal financial statements, schedules and analysis.
  • External schedules support the 10-Q, 10-K, and quarterly earnings releases
  • Collaborating with global businesses, international finance teams, shared service centers, investor relations, and global planning to ensure accurate/timely reporting and consolidation of monthly financial data, including required GAAP/management adjustments, and to provide accounting support
  • Manage/prepare monthly close processes
  • Perform financial statement analysis and present results to members of the Corporate Controller’s Group
  • Coordinate submissions and consolidations process for legacy Hillrom entities
  • Coordination with internal and external auditors on internal controls compliance and external audit processes
  • Focus on strengthening processes/use of financial systems and improving analysis/cycle time for monthly consolidation while maintaining appropriate level of internal controls
  • Facilitate integrating any future acquisitions into Baxter global consolidation and financial reporting processes

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA Preferred
  • Demonstration of key accounting / finance competencies and qualifications
  • 3 plus years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills/decision-making capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and demonstrated abilities in financial statement analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills as well as being detail oriented
  • Ability to lead multiple, contending priorities and escalate or resolve issues appropriately.
  • Ability to meet financial deadlines
  • Working experience of consolidation (e.g. HFM) and general ledger systems

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 to $132,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position.The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
