Qualified Accountant

Reporting to the department Manager, you will be based out Ashbourne, with a hybrid approach, to aid your service delivery to a mixed portfolio across Derbyshire

Client Details

A leading independent firm of chartered accountants based in Ashbourne with very low staff turnover are looking to hire a qualified accountant into their small but busy team where you will be dealing with SMEs operating below the audit threshold

Description

• Complete year-end accounts and tax computations for own portfolio of clients
• Portfolios to be managed in line with company procedures and KPI's ready for Director approval
• Be the key point of contact for own portfolio of clients
• Provide regular coaching, mentoring, feedback and training to seniors and trainees
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to offer other services and bring new clients to the company
• Ensure own skills and knowledge are maintained in line with CPD and sector requirements to offer best service to clients

Profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
• 5+ years practice experience
• Ideally experience of managing a portfolio of SMEs
