This is a new Purchase Ledger Clerk temporary position, starting immediately on a rolling contract. This position is based in London West-end and will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, expenses, preparing payment runs, performing supplier reconciliations and more.

Client Details

My client are a leading FMCG company, with offices all over the world, headed up in their London West-end office, where this role will sit. They are currently in need some temporary support during the busy summer months and provide flexible hybrid working as well as a friendly team atmosphere.


As the Purchase Ledger Clerk your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers, chasing approvals and non-moving invoices
  • Reviewing and processing expenses
  • Reviewing and processing credit cards
  • Preparing payment runs and expenses reimbursements
  • Performing supplier reconciliations
  • Preparing prepayments and accruals for review
  • Ad hoc assisting the Payable Manager and finance team


The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will have:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable/purchase ledger roles
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Strong understanding of excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and learn new processes/systems quickly
  • Ability to start immediately

Job Offer
