Description
Key responsibilities for the Head of Finance:
- Providing financial leadership and management across the organisation
- Supervising the financial and management accounting across the trust
- Provide strategic financial responsibility
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board
- Develop and implement strategies
- Preparing the trusts financial forecasts and cash flow
- Submitting financial reports
- Write the annual report and consolidate financial statements
- Manage financial aspects of capital projects
- Prepare bids
- Develop and improve financial policies and procedures
Profile
The successful Head of Finance will:
- Be a fully Qualified Accountant
- Have worked at a Head of Finance/ Senior Finance role previously
- Have provided strategic financial advice to the CEO/ Board of Trustees previously
- Have strong financial Modelling skills with the ability to create dynamic scenario forecasting
- Have experience managing a Finance team
- Have experience in presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues
