The successful candidate will be a key influencer when making informed strategic decisions, so the ability to deliver accurate, timely and incisive financial data is vital.

The client is a well-established and well-regarded Not for Profit organisation based in Bradford.

Description

Key responsibilities for the Head of Finance:

  • Providing financial leadership and management across the organisation
  • Supervising the financial and management accounting across the trust
  • Provide strategic financial responsibility
  • Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board
  • Develop and implement strategies
  • Preparing the trusts financial forecasts and cash flow
  • Submitting financial reports
  • Write the annual report and consolidate financial statements
  • Manage financial aspects of capital projects
  • Prepare bids
  • Develop and improve financial policies and procedures

Profile

The successful Head of Finance will:

  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant
  • Have worked at a Head of Finance/ Senior Finance role previously
  • Have provided strategic financial advice to the CEO/ Board of Trustees previously
  • Have strong financial Modelling skills with the ability to create dynamic scenario forecasting
  • Have experience managing a Finance team
  • Have experience in presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues
