A fast growing and highly successful accountancy practice based in Hertfordshire is searching for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team, leading role, bookkeeping and managing the provision of services to a client portfolio, preparing vat returns and providing online accounting advise to a varied client base. You will carve a key role here, adding value to clients and building relationships, within a growing team and firm.

Description
The key responsibilities for this Management Accountant role in Hertfordshire include:
- primary responsibility for maintaining the clients' accounting records
- preparing VAT returns
- preparing management accounts
- bookkeeping
- ad-hoc client requests and queries
Profile
The successful candidate for this Management Accountant role in Hertfordshire will be/have:
- a working knowledge of Xero Cloud Accounting Software
- a strong level of technical understanding
- able to complete clients' UK VAT returns in a timely fashion
- a problem solver, able to respond to ad-hoc client requests and queries
- able to communicate both orally and in written forms to facilitate the delivery of work and build relationships with clients and colleagues while working remotely
- understanding of sales and VAT, UK experience is desirable not essential
