Job Description

Team/Function Overview

Migration workstream focus is to onboard fund accounting services for new and existing clients into Citi fund accounting system. This involves full life-cycle management activities like planning, analysis, process design, migration documentation preparation, testing, execution of migration and post-implementation support.

Role / Position Overview

The role holder will be involved in onboarding of the new client's Funds (ABOR & IBOR) to Citi Fund Accounting platform. The successful candidate will own the full Migration lifecycle and ensure that detailed analysis and process design and execution minimize the risk to the business, our operating platform and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design, build & implementation of all Fund Accounting Migration workstream functions
• External provider data analysis (data quality, complexity, integrity)
• Identifying any risks or gaps in the proces and prompt communicating to Project Lead and Team Manager
• Active participation in internal meetings and client calls
• Support requirements collation for migration approach and their execution
• Validation and oversight of migration documentation

• Migration of funds during test and live migration phases. Work over weekends & evenings required occasionally

Criteria/Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience:

• Fund Accounting knowledge
• Good understanding of financial instruments (Bonds, Equities, CD/CP, Dividends, Deposits, FX, ETD, OTC, etc.)
• Third party administration experience
• Experience of Reconciliations
• Experience of using or supporting Multifonds is highly appreciated
• Experience of working with colleagues from a remote office and different time zones
• Tax knowledge advantageous, i.e., foreign tax treaties and withholding tax, UK Corp tax, Investor Taxes

Skills:

• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to details
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Good working knowledge of MS applications, especially MS Excel. MS Access advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects to meet tight timescales
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
