The Senior Business Analyst is a key role for supporting the City and County of Broomfield IT team by driving customer engagement, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the customer's business and processes, and resolving issues users face with systems.
About Broomfield's IT Department:
The IT department, made up of 6 divisions (GIS, DevOps, Customer Success, Project Management, Cybersecurity, and Administration) is responsible for guiding and governing City and County technology focused on business solutions, reliability, innovations, and customer satisfaction. The department is responsible for providing:

Hiring Range: $94,640.00 - $111,342.40 Annually

Essential Required Tasks/Examples of Duties
The Senior Business Analyst Position Responsibilities:
- Act as principal liaison for stakeholders and as a key point-of-contact in the adoption, utilization, and integration of the City's core technologies.
- Take a lead role in working with customers, vendors, and IT staff in the development of post-implementation support plans and support the customers' development of core skills required to utilize the technologies.
- Establish and lead the process to work with departments to analyze current state and future state process flows, document process diagrams, perform system fit/gap analysis, provide input for technical design specifications, and participate in systems testing.
- Coordinate with 3rd party application vendors and integrators to facilitate upgrades, resolution of system failures, definition of functional and system specifications for new system features, and define and schedule training needs.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Project Management Office Project Portfolio Management strategy by contributing to the maturity of processes and tools used by the PMO.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and conventions as necessary for the maintenance of effective services.
