- Assists and in some cases will take the lead on managing all aspects of global banking, including banking admin, processing payments, account opening/closing, KYC, internal controls, etc.
- Conducts daily cash flow management by reviewing cash balances and cash flow projections across all subsidiaries and drawing and investing/redeeming or borrowing/paying down on bank credit facility on daily basis as needed
- Produces daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly periodic reports
- Assists in issuing global standby letters of credit and bank guarantees
- Facilitates currency management including buying and selling of currencies to minimize exposures to currency risk
- Responsible for global reporting of cash balances
- Creates, updates, and manages the treasury procedures library
- Other duties as assigned
Other Skills & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and comprehension)
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a very fast paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills are recommended, including use of macros, vlookup, sorting & formatting, importing and exporting data, etc.
- Must be self-driven and willing to learn and eventually take charge of their daily tasks & responsibilities
Physical Requirements
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
- The internship is located on site. Must be physically in the office at 8am.
Education & Experience
- 3-4 years of college experience required, preferably majoring in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Must have an education schedule that can support a 20-30 hour work week
