Management Accountant - Leading Practice (Hybrid Working)

Description

Management Accountant - Leading Practice (Hybrid Working) duties:

• Assisting the Finance Manager with financial reporting (weekly, monthly, HR)
• Preparation of budgets and fee projections
• Monitoring spending against budget
• Preparation of monthly cash-flows and forecasts, analysing variances and commentaries
• Monitoring processes and reporting against financial standards and regulations
• Preparation and design of management accounts
• Assistance with preparation of firm's financial statements, including month and year end journals
• Answering queries for partners and preparing ad-hoc reports
• Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
• Reviewing benefits in kind re P11ds
• VAT Returns
• Other general work as part of the finance team as required, including assistance with month and year end procedures, providing cover for other members on the team on holiday etc

Profile

Management Accountant - Leading Practice (Hybrid Working) criteria:

• Part-qualified or qualified by experience (open to different profiles)
• Experience of Sage is absolutely essential
• Intermediate Excel skills (Formulas, if statements. Pivot tables..)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in financial services/professional services.
• Previous Partnership experience, preferable
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of the nature of confidential information
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
