Do you see yourself assuming responsibility for DLL’s Transaction Monitoring framework and system in the first line, and in doing so support the DLL effort to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. This is a leadership role reporting to the Manager Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Centre of Excellence (CEO) and requires the role holder to assume hands on responsibility for the oversight of DLL’s Transaction Monitoring Framework in the 1st line.
Day to day:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the global transaction monitoring team consisting of two Transaction Monitoring Specialists and engage with TM data specialists within the Model Governance & Data team.
- Project management / implementation of new business rules to the country network.
- Ensure DLL’s transaction monitoring framework is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform coverage assessment in connection with SIRA to ensure rule management activities are risk-based and tailored to DLL.
- Responsible for building and maintaining metrics, reporting and visibility into DLL’s transaction monitoring function.
- Ensure maintenance and tuning of rules is done in adherence with all local and regional governance requirements through application of strict governance protocols.
- Responsible for the back testing of TM rules to ensure rules are correctly reflecting the risk for which they were designed.
- Accountable for transaction monitoring coverage assessments that clearly define the TM risks and controls necessary to maintain compliance within the DLL country network.
- Develop and implement procedures related to transaction Monitoring, including risk assessment methodologies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on transaction monitoring procedures.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and trends, and recommend changes to the program as necessary.

- 3+ years’ experience in 1st and/or 2nd Line FEC Transaction Monitoring roles.
- Subject matter expert in Transaction Monitoring, preferably in an international environment.
- Managerial experience is a plus but we are open for someone without this experience, as long as you have expertise knowledge of Transaction Monitoring.
- Identify needs for strategic and automation improvement.
- Ability to develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people within the organization as well as with external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related subject.
- ACAMS certification or equivalent is a plus.
