Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a market leading, award-winning provider of cash management, cards and trade solutions to financial institutions, public sector and corporate clients around the world. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains. Part of TTS, Citi Commercial Cards offers globally integrated card payment solutions enabling our clients to meet their growing needs for advance expense management and working capital.

Role Overview

The In-Business Risk and Controls Specialist needs to apply sound judgment when interpreting data and results and to be able to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner requiring highly developed communication and diplomacy skills in order to properly handle potentially complex/sensitive issues and information. Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Supports activities related to legal risk, regulatory compliance and controls
  • Coverage of Managers Control Assessment (MCA) oversight including helping to coordinating Quarterly Assessments
  • Assist with coordinating and consolidating corrective action plans to bring resolution of issues owned by the EMEA Commercial Cards Business
  • Ensure all MCA related activities are in compliance with the Risk Management Framework/Policy, and Citi Standards and Procedures.
  • Assist with leading ad-hoc projects and initiatives to ensure successful and timely completion.
  • Assist with review of Policies, Standards, Procedures for proposed enhancements.
  • Assist with Internal Audit and Regulatory requests/reviews.
  • Performs varied work requests from multiple sources that may be complex

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, exceptional verbal communication and listening skills
