Role Purpose

  • Ensures the scope, detailed requirements, and business outcomes for assigned projects/programs within CRM Technology are sufficiently captured, understood, and translated for business and technical delivery teams.
  • Collaborates with/across multiple teams and roles to ensure solutions align to defined processes and requirements.
  • For the Project Centre for Enablement (C4E) Delivery path, acting as the capability BA, works with the SMEs on the Capability teams to ensure that the planned delivery is understood and fit to be received into Production.


Key responsibilities

For Project C4E Delivery path:

- Responsible for the elicitation, analysis and documentation of business needs, detailed requirements, and process maps.

- Elicits, writes formal specifications, and communicates business requirements between development and business teams to design and implement business solutions as part of Project and Program delivery.

- Develops and improves business processes within the Technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analysing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition and ability for technical teams to translate to a technical solution design.

- Works with developers, architects, and solution designers to translate complex business requirements and provides feedback on technical solutions proposed.

- Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with business stakeholders and impacted users, as part of Project and Program delivery.

- Demonstrates proposed solutions to stakeholders and seeks and addresses feedback.

- Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process as it relates to assigned projects.

- Develops an in-depth awareness and understanding of multiple technologies such as Salesforces' Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, DocuSign CLM and e-Signature.

- Ensures Technology Partner Organisations' development follows a click not code approach to fixes and enhancements.

- Works within the defined governance on platform resiliency and stability with a focus on driving down technical debt and capabilities reuse across divisions.

- Actively works with the CS's aligned to the BA's assigned portfolio of projects, keeping them informed on the progress of the BA work on the Project, and asking for SME advise as appropriate.

- Supports the successful transition of new capabilities deployed by CRM Technology programmes and projects to BAU support, including preparation of knowledge transfer materials as defined by the Project and BAU team as part of the operational readiness process.

- Engages in support activities that may be required by the CS team in the agreed ELS (Early Life Support) period post Project deployment.

- Invited to contribute to CRM Technology 'Trailblazers' user groups to share CRM Technology Roadmap visibility and progress reporting, and case studies for delivered Projects of note.

Critical deliverables

For Project C4E Delivery path:

  • Manages the detailed scoping and requirements working with business stakeholders, SMEs, Technology Partner organizations and internal CRM Technology and Corporate Technology teams, in relation to project delivery.
  • Responsible for adhering to best practice development principles and supports the complex regulatory landscape in which our end users operate by adhering to appropriate governance and security controls - namely the C4E Framework.


Impact

Role impacts all divisional users of CRM Technology and downstream systems reliant on Customer Data - 10k users across Capital Markets, Post Trade and Data & Analytics.

Technical / job functional knowledge

  • Experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of business and systems analysis
  • Adapts traditional approaches to solutions and applies in different circumstances
  • Experience of delivering projects both in accordance with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Results focused with ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and without constant supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power Point).


Business and sector expertise

  • Experience of business process and requirements analysis in a highly regulated and complex Financial Services environment.
  • Experience of developing and influencing strategic working relationships with Technology Partner Organisations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners and to listen to identified concerns and adapt accordingly.
  • Ability to influence across multiple functions.
