Job Description

Team/Function Overview

Fund Accounting Client Change delivery (CCD) team supports the portfolio of change for EMEA Fund Accounting. This includes client driven changes to our core service, complex internal initiatives and client onboardings. We work with our operational and technology colleagues across the globe to deliver our book of work.

Role / Position Overview

The Business Analyst role work will within a project team, supporting the Implementation of Fund Accounting Client change, including operating model design, gap analysis, requirements definition, testing team support and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership and accountability of full analysis lifecycle.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to define accurate and complete requirements which are
fully documented, driving out ambiguity and ensuring common understanding.
  • Regular progress reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Interacting with Citi teams and client analysts to ensure requirements are met and Operations
are ready to implement new processes and technology solutions.
  • Supporting the client and operations teams' post-implementation until key sign off criteria is met.

Gain a wider knowledge of our Fund Accounting clients' business models and Citi's end-to-end processes and the Citi Operating Model.

Develop the individual's awareness of business risk and understanding of cost/benefit decision making.

Working with and coordination of colleagues across multiple global sites and a multi-client base.

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Proven Business Analysis experience with a solid understanding of industry standard best practices and techniques
  • Experience of working with life Assurance and/ asset management clients, on a variety of fund vehicles (e.g. OEICs, Unit-linked, Segregated etc).
  • In depth knowledge of market instruments and conventions
  • Understanding of end-to-end Fund
  • Client facing experience (desirable)
  • Experience of fund accounting and fund accounting platforms (desirable)
  • Knowledge of accounting operating models (preferred)
Skills:

• In depth analytical skills, able to work and manipulate data sets, draw conclusions, create reports etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability translate requirements and communicate with a wide audience

• Solid presentational skills

• Ability to define clear solutions

• Must be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities

Qualifications:

Professional Business Analyst qualifications are not required but would demonstrate a commitment to the career path.

Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
