• Compliance lead for Telecom Security Act (TSA), a major initiative aimed at further raising the bar on cybersecurity in the UK telecoms sector
• Driving a cultural change in the approach to security in Network Services, and BT. Ensure every employee understands and embraces their role in building and maintaining trust.
• Make security frictionless. Identify and drive initiatives to remove inefficient processes, outdated tooling and approaches
• Cornerstone role driving a state-of-the-art DevSecOps strategy

What you'll be doing

• Drive compliance coordination and management against the TSA requirements
• Evangelise DevSecOps culture and practice, building on existing agile ways of working
• Influence BT security policy, standards and tools
• Manage key internal and third party relationships

Skills Required For The Job

• Strong interpersonal and inspirational communication skills with demonstrable experience interacting with and influencing technical SMEs
• Willingness to challenge convention and ability to simplify complex issues
• Ability to analyse and synthesise data, and use the results to manage risk and influence change
• Security experience in an agile delivery environment is a strong plus

Experience You'd Be Expected to Have

• MANDATORY: Experience in cyber security in corporate environments
• MANDATORY: Experience in managing compliance
• PREFERRED: Software engineering background
• PREFERRED: Experience with risk management
• PREFERRED: Experience delivering security in agile software development methodologies, ideally with cloud-based experience
• PREFERRED: Experience of embedded system or device security
• PREFERRED: Experience of cyber and information security regulations, standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, GDPR).
