Accounts Assistant / Integration Service Charge Assistant - Management Accounts - Leading Company

Our leading Property Management client based in Croydon are seeking a driven and motivated candidate to join the internal corporate finance team on a permanent basis. Working as part of the management accounts department, you will play a key role in managing the UK business internal management accounts with an initial focus on Integration Service Charge.

Duties include:
  • Ensure that service charges are accounted for in accordance
  • Calculating service charge amounts based on the budget, percentages and completion dates and raising demands for these amounts
  • Dealing with queries for leaseholders, clients and previous agents via telephone, email and in writing
  • Keeping track and posting of the handover funds received from previous agents
  • Creating journals using the handover information provided by the previous agent/developer
  • Understanding and uploading budget information with multi scheduling and matrix apportionment
  • Analysing in detail the data received from the outside parties, ensuring all is accurate
  • Liaising with outside parties, such as other agents, developers, and directors to obtain all relevant financial documents
Experience needed:
  • Accounts experience (preferably within the Property Management sector)
  • Good understanding of working with excel and financial information spreadsheets
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Ability to pick up and adjust to new property management software packages quickly (preferable)
  • To be able to work and communicate both with internal and external clients
