Discover the role

As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and tax needs for our clients, partnering with them to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, compliant with local laws and regulations. You will work alongside a senior member of the team who will also support your growth at TMF, reporting directly to the A&T Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the portfolio of the assigned clients- with different levels of autonomy depending on the files’ complexity (under supervision)
• Monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll, entries
• Preparation of tax returns autonomously
• Monthly and annual closing transactions;preparation of annual financial statements and tax packages
• Setting up monthly and quarterly reports with different levels of autonomy depending on the files’ complexity (under supervision)

About you

• Degree in Accounting, Audit (BTS, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalents), or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
• At least 3 years of experience preferably in similar companies / BPOs
• Intermediate knowledge of English (B1+)
• Proficient user of MS Office package
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for companies in France (statutory deadlines, tax laws, regulations, etc.)
• Knowledge of at least one accounting software: SAGE, CEGID Loop, Yooz or equivalent, Netsuite, or SAP is a plus, Enate Suit, ORACLE, Blackline, Workday, Yardi Voyager
• Highly responsible and organized person with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
• Trustworthy team member who considers those around them
