Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

To be eligible to apply for the accelerated training you will need the following experience and or qualifications:

• Bachelor or 4th, 5th year of Master’ studies in a core STEM subject or in Economics / Banking / Finance / A degree level qualification is required ideally in core STEM subject.
• The ideal applicant will also have a good level of stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate with and function as part of a high performing team.
• Availability for attending Academy during period of 12th June - 23rd June (morning till afternoon hours) online.
• Understanding of English terminology related to investment banking.

Additional advantages:

• Internship or work experience program in a financial institution will be an asset.
• Experience of banking operations or Middle office would be ideal, however someone with front office knowledge or a good understanding of the differing functions and teams that support a bank as a whole would also be a strong candidate.

What we offer

This is a unique opportunity to join an accelerated investment banking operations training course curated by Deloitte with the ability on successful completion to work with one of our Tier 1 investment banking clients on an initial 6 to 12 months placement.

While this will be initially on a contract basis, a number of opportunities will exist to convert to permanent following a successful placement.

Timeframes: Training academy will begin at 12th of June and will last for 2 weeks: Monday-Friday, 8 hours.

The initial two week accelerated training will cover but is not limited to the following topics:

• Capital Markets
• Interest rate mechanisms
• FX
• Investment Banking
• Regulatory change
• Financial platforms
