Client Details

A reputable Media Consultancy firm based in central Peterborough and are looking for a dedicated AR Assistant to join their supportive finance team of 10. As part of their family-oriented organisation, they empower their staff and value their input. They require an individual with solid Accounts experience to be comfortable in their role including sales invoicing, cash receipt matching and posting amongst other tasks. The role is based in their Peterborough office and is ideal for someone who is looking for a long-term, stable job role.

Description

AR Assistant duties and responsibilities;

• Posting and allocating incoming receipts to the sales ledger.
• Posting sales invoices/credit notes to the sales ledger and sending them out via post or email as appropriate.
• Checking/updating relevant PO information.
• Monitoring AR inbox.
• Assist in resolving customer queries.
• Issuing customer statements.
• Dealing with and distributing post effectively.
• Work closely with the credit control function as required.
• Willing to assist with other financial duties when needed.

Profile

Requirements for this Permanent AR Assistant role:

• Solid Accounts experience to be comfortable managing the accounts receivable ledger
• Reconciliations and payment processing experience
• Keen to have ownership of their work
• Looking for a long-term stable job role
• Experience using Sage is a bonus but not essential
• Good team player
