Part of our Record to Report Accounting Hub team, which supports functions such as Revenue, Treasury, Copyright, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Intercompany, the successful candidate will become a member of the wider Finance team at Apple. With over 400 employees from a multitude of backgrounds, we support all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including Sales Fulfilment, Logistics, Manufacturing and Operations, Apple Music, Apple Retail as well as the Global Business Solutions (GBS) function.

Description
- Responsible for ensuring Apple’s fixed assets are accurately recorded and reported for corporate, statutory and tax purposes, while managing the related operational processes within a controls structure
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process in R2R ensuring fixed assets activities are completed in line with close timetable
- Represent the fixed asset team for projects particularly in the area of geo-expansion and ensuring compliance under local statutory rules
- Have involvement and ownership of ongoing regional and global initiatives to manage ongoing growth and expansion
- Demonstrate technical and analytical abilities in conjunction with strong statutory expertise to drive system automation
- Seek alignment and process improvements across a range of standard processes currently in existence
- Work with external auditors as part of the annual audit of financial statements
Education & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant with proven PQE
- SAP FICO knowledge highly desirable
