As an Operational Finance Manager you will be handling day-to-day financial activities of two locations, including preparing and presenting reports, examining data to understand trends and expenses, and calculating the cost of various activities. You will ensure that financial controls are in place and that performance metrics are accurate, whilst identifying areas for improvement in capital projects.

Description
- Manage the operational finance activities of two sites
- Prepare weekly reports on financial performance
- Conduct in-depth analyses of financial data to identify trends and insights
- Manage costing activities to ensure accurate and timely data
- Provide effective financial control for the sites
- Ensure reliable and accurate performance measurements
- Provide proactive decision support for business improvement opportunities
- Conduct capital and post-analyses to evaluate investments and outcomes
- Assess the profitability of different product mixes
- Guide the sites to achieve optimal profitability
Profile
- Qualified Accountant, or Part Qualified (final stages), QBE
- Detailed manufacturing and costing experience.
- Experience of analysing and supporting factory performance.
- Excellent numeracy and computer literacy skills (data input, Excel, Microsoft Word).
- Strong planning, interpersonal and diplomacy skills - motivated to give a responsive proactive service.
- Experience of preparing weekly and monthly accounts, meeting challenging deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Strong analytical ability and capable of high levels of accuracy.
