Summary
LeapFrog Investments is looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to join their existing finance team based in Johannesburg, South Africa. As the team is small, the Finance Manager will assume a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of LeapFrog Investments. This role will also be responsible for managing two junior staff members based in the Johannesburg office, as well as all external service providers in the various jurisdictions. This role will report to the Finance Director.

What you will do:
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Produce quarterly accounts for statutory/compliance purposes
- Draft annual financial statements
- Run with the annual budget process
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations, such as invoicing, and other transactions
- Manage the payroll function in conjunction with HR and external payroll service providers
- Oversee and support external accountants
- Review tax submissions, and other financial needs as necessary
- Review and release payments
- Managing external service providers
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
What we are looking for:
- CA (SA)
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager - minimum of 8-10 years (excludes article experience)
- Experienced in drafting financial statements
- Advanced level Excel skills
- Experience managing a small team (minimum 2 team members)
- You should currently be in a Financial Manager role
- Prior Private Equity experience would be an advantage
