Description

• Analyze financial data and historical cost information to develop accurate cost estimation models.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand project requirements and establish realistic cost targets.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for products, services, and processes to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets by providing cost projections and recommendations.
• Monitor budget performance regularly and provide variance analysis reports to management.
• Forecast future costs and potential financial risks based on market trends, historical data, and business.
• Implement cost control measures and procedures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimise resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor spending patterns, identify cost drivers, and propose cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct pricing analysis and support pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning and profitability.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate pricing structures, promotions, and discounts.
• Assess the impact of pricing decisions on profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Present cost-related information to senior management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and potential risks.
• Provide cost-related guidance and support to department managers, project teams, and other stakeholders.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Costing Manager, Cost Accountant, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in cost calculations.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial management systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
