Description
Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand their business needs, financial goals, and challenges to provide proactive solutions and advice.
Financial Advisory: Offer strategic financial advice to clients, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving measures to enhance client profitability.
Compliance and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and training. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to maximise team performance and professional development.
Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new business through cross-selling services. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to proactively offer value-added services.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to project budgets and deadlines. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of work quality, adhering to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices. Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Profile
- Professional qualification : CA/CPA required.
- Proven experience (8-10 years) working in a similar client management or supervisory role within a chartered accountancy firm.
- Demonstrated previous experience in super funds management.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using accounting software and other relevant tools (e.g., Xero, Class and Excel etc.).
