Client Details

My client is a well-established organisation working out of the Polegate area. They are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their existing team.

Description

As a Credit Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the timely processing and accurate application of customer payments, credit notes and other transactions
• Setting up customer accounts and setting credit limits based on company risk management policies
• Credit referencing at account set up, period credit reviews and adhoc customer credit increase requests
• Effective liaison with the agencies, branches, customers, and credit control manager to ensure policy compliance
• Effective liaison with the above stakeholders to collect cash timely and meet collection targets and other team KPIs including, but not limited to bad debts, on stop accounts and DSOs
• Support in the monitoring and reporting of team KPIs to the business and proactive in identifying emerging risks to mitigate and opportunities to improve and find efficiency.

Profile

To be successful in your application for Credit Controller, you should be:

• Experienced in a Credit Controller position - ideally 2 years minimum
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
• Experienced in both B2B and B2C is advantageous
• Experience of Accountancy Systems
• Proficient with Excel
