My client is a PE backed high growth operational business. They are recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager.
The role reports to the FD and will lead a team of 2.

My client, based in Surrey is a PE backed, multi-site operational business. They are projected to more than double in size in the next 5 years through organic growth.
Description
Reporting
- Preparation of reporting packs in conjunction with the various Business department as well as the Board (in line with reporting timelines)
- Preparation of KPI reports together with clear commentary explaining any variances
- Development of data and report preparation processes to improve robustness and efficiency
- Control the annual business planning process with departmental input, cascading the overall strategy to the SLT
- Monitor Group performance against all plans, budgets and forecasts
Business Partnering
- Identify and support stakeholders with opportunities for investment case development
- Preparation and submission of final budgets for review at Business Unit level
- Analysis of Commercial (inc. Procurement) performance and KPI reporting
- Analysis of all operational areas performance and KPI reporting
Analysis
- Financial modelling for a range of scenario analysis to support the making of key decisions across the company
- Forecasting at Business Unit level identifying trends as well as risks and opportunities
- Ad-hoc work during the month for specific issues that are identified. For example, further detailed and deeper analysis of results, problem identification and resolution.
- Investment evaluations for significant capital spend and new sites
Profile
- Qualified, with recent experience in an FP&A/commercial role, ideally in an operational business
- A track record of business partnering with stakeholders to deliver common goals
- Outstanding Excel skills - including modelling
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to understand, present and explain complex data to non finance teams
- Experience of bringing financial information to life in a visual / creative way
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent professional working relationships with people at all levels across the company and externally
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently deal with people across all levels of the business
Job Offer
Salary of £65,000 - £80,000 plus package
