Overview

We are currently hiring for a Financial Accountant on the Global Consolidation Team. This is a permanent opportunity and will report to the Global Consolidation Controller for Glanbia Performance Nutrition. This role will support the day-to-day reporting of Glanbia Performance Nutrition consolidated accounts including the operation of P&L Governance Model, Transfer Pricing and Contract Services Model Reporting. It will involve supporting the finance organisation.

The base location of the role will be Citywest, Dublin 24 with a hybrid working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance. 

The opportunity where you will make an impact:

• Operation, review, and maintain Governance process underpinning GPN’s P&L structure.
• Operation and maintenance of Monthly, Budget and Forecast Global Assessment Cycles.
• Support month end close reporting and Budget/Forecast cycles.
• Communicate, monitor and liaise with GPN Accounting and Control teams around Group Reporting timelines.
• Assist on GPN’s Contract Services Model and Transfer Pricing reporting.
• Support and Business Partner with Regional Accounting & Control teams.
• Assist in other Global Consolidation tasks as required and participate in various projects where relevant.

What you will bring to GPN:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with previous experience gained ideally in a similar role 
• Passion for the sports nutrition industry.
• Excellent communication skills 
• Curious, eager to learn, as well as share ideas and challenge status quo.
• A strong, self-confident team player with a collaborative and facilitative style.
• A self-starter, who can work well within a team and across geographical boundaries.
• Organisational and prioritisation skills are vital.
