Client Details
Our client is a very well known PLC, a multi billion dollar business in their market and has been a very experienced and developed industry in their own segment.
Description
- Formulate and develop finance inputs on strategic planning processes and key assumptions used in budgets as well as monitor the group wide planning and its financial impact to the organization.
- Prepare the budgeting policies and guidelines and ensure compliance with any relevant requirements, ensure alignment of budget to overall strategic plan, coordinate between roles of finance business partners and financial management in budget analysis and monitoring contributing to business efficiency.
- Develop and evaluate risk analysis, sensitivity analysis and its financial impact in determining the level of risk involved in making business decision as well as support the implementation of the risk mitigation plan to reduce or eliminate the risk factors identified.
- Develop forecasts based on current performance trends and aligned to overall business strategy to result in consistent and reliable service delivery for internal customers.
- Develop set of financial KPI metrics and targets for business units based on financial value drivers as well as guidelines for performance dialogues to support the business vision, mission and goals.
- Be the primary point of contact and facilitate the financial team and key relevant parties to better understand and resolve any queries on financial management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to safeguard the organisation's interest and integrity, and sustain productive collaboration.
- Gain and maintain understanding of current relevant knowledge and regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws across the country to be utilised in achieving optimal performance for self and the organisation.
- Manage development of own and team's skills and capabilities to ensure the right skillsets are in place to continuously improve work performance. Manage and develop a high performing team to support internal customers and service delivery quality. Manage the development of staff to enhance internalisation of the right leadership and staff capabilities and in achieving high performance delivery.
Profile
- Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Professional qualification will be added advantage (CIMA/CPA/ACCA and etc)
- Strong stakeholder management and prior PLC/MNC experience will be great
- Strong analytic ability
- Ability to communicate and lead a team
- Experienced in M&A will be added advantage
