We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's finance team. As part of the day-to-day duties, s/he will be responsible for liaising with suppliers to obtain suppliers’ statements, reconcile them with our records, solve any issues that might arise and issue payments accordingly. He/she will also be responsible for liaising with the Cost Controllers, analysing accruals and prepayment any other administrative duties and ad hoc reporting as required by the Financial Controller.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciles Suppliers' statements and raises payments accordingly.
- Posting of General invoices and monitoring that invoices are in line with quotes and approved purchase orders.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Liaising with Cost Controller and Suppliers to request Credit notes.
- Analysing Accruals and Prepayments and monitoring the receipt of General invoices.
- Ad hoc reporting that is requested by the Financial Controller.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven work experience in a similar position in an accounting office or proven work experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software will be considered an asset.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality service.
EDUCATION
'O’ level standard of education.
WORKING TIME
Monday to Friday, from 08:30 till 17:00 with 30 minutes break.
