I am working with a business in Derby that are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.

The business can offer 2 days working from home as well as flexible working hours.

The business are ideally looking for a finalist or passed finalist for this position, or somebody with lots of experience.

Due to growth of the business they have created this brand new role to help the business expand.

You will work closely with the Finance Director, Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager and subsidiary finance teams.

Description

• Responsible for the annual consolidation schedule
• Support the Group's interim and year end accounts and annual report process
• Support subsidiary accounts preparation process
• Support the audit process, ensuring integrity and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing monthly and annual reports
• Support with VAT returns

Profile

• Self motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong inter-personal skills, preferably with exposure to working with Senior Management
• Outstanding mathematical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong IT literacy, Microsoft Excel in particular
• Finalist or Passed Finalist

Job Offer

• Salary up to £45,000
