Finance Associate

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions and performing day-to-day financial operations. This role will require excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic bookkeeping in QuickBooks – record bills received, invoice clients
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in UAE
• Handle accounting tasks for UAE, UK, USA, Pakistan and Estonia entity – accounts preparation, tax returns, annual company renewals
• Prepare quarterly / bi-annual budgets
• Manage payroll for employees
• Manage petty cash and record office expenses
• Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
• Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform day-to-day financial operations, including reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures
• Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• Preferably CA / ACCA finalist / affiliate
• At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
